ISSAMBA SHOW is an interactive musical spectacle which showcases African Roots, Rhythms & Music.
ISSAMBA African ROOTS Ultimate Experience promotes and brings together music from across African cultures to present a unified African groove.

ISSAMBA celebrates the finest blend of artistry from all five African regions, with exciting musical performances from world-renowned balafon master, Mamadou Diabaté and African contemporary dancer, Merlin Nyakam the Enchanter.

Other guest performers include: Paris-based master percussionist Adama Bilorou, Montreal-based African flutist Laso Sanou, Ottawa-based percussionist Akra Soumah, as well as other popular regional artiste.
It is an evening to be immersed in the mix of African instruments, traditional rhythms, and dancing styles.

  • ISSAMBA SHOWCASE: ISSAMBA, which means ‘’Come Together’’ in the Béti dialect of Cameroon, is a wonderfully expressive, engaging and diverse group of world-renowned African-born musicians and dancers. ISSAMBA’s energetic and interactive performances invariably capture the imagination of its audiences, transporting them to the earthy and evocative world of African rhythm and dance.
  • Recently, we opened the first and only one African Cultural Centre and a Hub for people of African Descent on Vancouver Island (BC)
  • Virtual Conversation in order to minimize the impact of isolation due to COVID-19 confinement
